We just wanted to provide our Doodlebug Family notice that as of June 1st, we are instating a new $10 fee for visits scheduled with less then 24 hours notice in addition to your dog walking or pet sitting visit price. As always we are here to serve your needs and want to be there for you in a pinch, but short notice visits can be very challenging for us to schedule. There are two reasons we have added this fee, and just want to share them with our clients: 1) We are hoping to encourage as many of our clients as possible to schedule in advance when possible - it will save the client $10, and makes informing the walker, scheduling the visits, and distributing keys much more manageable on our end. 2) When life happens and short notice visits are required, we are almost always able to accommodate the visits, and pride ourselves on doing so. While your visit may only be 30 minutes, there is often another hour plus done in the office to find an available walker (many times your primary walker/sitter with your keys is not available without notice) and then driving out to drop the keys off to make your appointments happen. They love their dog and have such a sweet connection with Cookie! It’s just beautiful to see owners love a dog so much (I know the feeling)!
